- Unzip the front closure fully and lay the jacket flat, outer shell facing up
- Guide your dog's head through the neck opening, then pull the jacket down along the back
- Zip the front closure from the belly up to the collar
- Pull the neck drawcord to tighten — snug enough that two fingers slide underneath comfortably
- Adjust the harness straps so the D-ring sits centered on your dog's back
- Clip your leash directly to the D-ring and head out
